TAV IT Has Received The ISO 27001:2005 Certificate for Information Security Management System,

TAV IT, whose products are used at 18 airports worldwide, has been successfully awarded the certificate for Information Security Management Systems (ISO 27001:2005).

The ISO 27001 Standard -involving implementation, monitoring, operation and auditing processes related to information security management systems- is considered essential in today's world, in which sophisticated IT systems are widely used. TAV IT received the certificate from SGS, an organization accredited by UKAS; The United Kingdom Accreditation Service, which will be valid until 2015.

TAV IT General Manager Binnur Guleryuz Onaran stated that the goal of being awarded this certificate is to increase customer satisfaction and provide the highest level of protection for information, which is vital for the Company. Noting that receiving the certificate has provided additional confirmation of the service mentality of TAV IT which is always striving to work at international standards, Onaran said: "ISO 27001 requires the preparation of companies' risk management and risk operation plans, tasks and responsibilities, business continuity plans, emergency management processes and keeping the relevant records during implementation. Receipt of this certificate subsequent to the ISO 9001 Quality Management Certificate has increased our competitiveness."
