The IDC Future Enterprise Awards honors the achievements of organizations that have successfully planned and executed the digital transformation (DX) of one or multiple areas of their business through the application of digital and disruptive technologies in Turkey.
Future of Operations
Considering key priorities for the companies, IDC announced 12 different award categories that cover critical areas for digitalization. After the evaluation of more than 150 applications under these categories, TAV Technologies has been selected as one of the pioneers within “Future of Operations” category with its “Digitalization at Riga Airport” project.
This project mainly focused on developing the collaboration between Riga Airport and EuroControl, a pan-European, civil-military organization dedicated to supporting European aviation. Airport collaboration decision-making project (ACDM) was successfully designed to provide harmony in Riga through its fully digitally compliant system aligned with Eurocontrol's criteria. ACDM provided a reliable platform for all aviation community stakeholders such as aviation authorities, airline operators, airport operators, ground handling service companies, and air traffic controllers. The main functions of the project were to improve the overall efficiency of airport operations and to develop the synchronized decision-making capacity of stakeholders by digitalization. ACDM facilitated the optimum handling of the turn-round process at airports.
