TAV Information Technologies, in Cooperation With Roy+Teddy, Has Deployed The First Windows 8 Application in Turkey.
TAV IT, prominent in Turkey and worldwide as a supplier of information solutions to the Aviation industry, now offers users its “TAV Airports Windows 8 Application” developed in cooperation with Roy+Teddy, one of Turkey’s most creative digital media and marketing Agencies. The “TAV Airports Windows 8 Application” has been developed for Windows 8, Microsoft's new operating system that has already been downloaded by millions of people even before being available in the marketplace. This application, the first Turkish application in the Windows 8 Store, provides all the information that an airport user might ever need.
TAV IT, a subsidiary of TAV Airports, produced its TAV Airports Windows 8 application for the Windows 8 operating system. Developed in cooperation with Roy+Teddy, one of Turkey’s most creative digital media and marketing agencies, it delivers straight to travelers’ mobile devices every kind of information - and more - to do with the eight airports operated by TAV across four different countries. The TAV Airports Windows 8 Application is the first application from Turkey submitted to the Windows 8 Store; it is also the first airport related application included worldwide. In addition to flight information, the application provides access information that makes airport life much more convenient - and fun. The TAV Airports Windows 8 Application can be downloaded to almost any kind of device, including desktops, laptops and tablet computers. The TAV Airports Windows 8 Application, available for free download for almost any type of device but especially for desktop computers, laptops and tablets, displays departure and arrival flight information for all domestic and international lines, meaning that any arrival and departure time can be easily found: now updated flight information can be instantly accessed.
In addition to flight information, this application provides the traveler with every kind of information that they could ever need at an airport including airport transportation, rental cars, airport store information, airport entertainment, information about duty free stores, discounts, ATM locations, ticketing points, private lounges and lost and found. Further, the TAV Airports Windows 8 Application supplies important and extensive information about the city being visited, complete with a city guide including shopping centers, famous eateries, museums, tourist attractions and much more.
The TAV Airports Windows 8 Application covers the eight airports operated by TAV: İstanbul Atatürk, Ankara Esenboğa, İzmir Adnan Menderes Airports in Turkey as well as Tbilisi and Batumi in Georgia, Enfidha and Monastir in Tunisia and the Skopje Airport in Macedonia.
