Environmental Management System Policy

TAV Bilişim Hizmetleri A.Ş. (“TAV Technologies”) adopts an environmental approach that observes the conservation of natural resources and the reduction of environmental impacts by acting in compliance with national and international environmental legislation in its activities related to the design and delivery of aviation technology infrastructure services.

In line with its sustainability objectives, TAV Technologies declares its Environmental Policy in order to bring its employees, customers, suppliers, and all third-party business partners with whom it works together around the same purpose:

It adopts the protection of the environment and the prevention of pollution as fundamental principles and aims to prevent at source or minimize the environmental impacts that may arise from its activities, products, and services.
It fully complies with applicable environmental legislation and other compliance obligations and regularly monitors and evaluates the continuity of these obligations.
It evaluates its activities, the digital products and services it provides, and its information technology infrastructure from a life-cycle perspective and observes the reduction of environmental impacts in the processes of design, procurement, installation, operation, maintenance, updating, and end-of-life.
It supports the efficient use of energy, water, and natural resources; the reduction of waste generation at source; and the expansion of reuse and recovery practices and ensures that electronic waste is managed through environmentally responsible methods.
In order to contribute to the fight against climate change, it promotes improving energy efficiency, monitoring and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and the use of lowcarbon and sustainable technologies.
Together with its suppliers, business partners, customers, and employees, it aims to develop environmental responsibility awareness, support sustainable procurement practices, and encourage cooperation aimed at improving environmental performance.
It continuously improves its environmental performance by adopting a risk- and opportunity-based thinking approach; regularly reviews its environmental objectives and targets; and continually improves the effectiveness of the Environmental Management System.
